Jeremiah 1:18
God's Pillar End‑Time Mission — an incorporated ministry in Ibadan, Nigeria, raising a people groomed for the Kingdom of Heaven and equipped for excellent, victorious living on earth.
Who We Are
GOPEM stands for God's Pillar End‑Time Mission — an incorporated ministry with its own board of trustees, ministers, house members and field members serving in and beyond Ibadan.
What is known today as GOPEM began in 1999 under a different name — God's Pillar Evangelical Ministries. As the work grew, the house adopted its present name in step with Jeremiah 1:18, while holding on to the original "God's Pillar" at its centre.
The earliest assignment was among secondary school students, carried out through school outreaches and a student mass choir that, in time, drew over a thousand souls into the Kingdom. That single seed has since grown into a family of ministries, each carrying forward a piece of the same commission.
Read Full StoryBorn in Ibadan and native to Ilesa, Osun State, he gave his life to Christ in January 1998, with the ministry's assignment kicking off shortly after in 1999.
Formally commissioned at the Cultural Centre, Mokola, and ordained in 2003, he carries a distinct calling into Word and Music Ministry. Today, he still humbly describes himself as an undergraduate in the school of the Holy Spirit.
In GOPEM, "Setman" is used in place of titles like founder or president — a reminder that leadership here is simply about being set apart for an assignment.
One House, Many Pillars
Over the years, GOPEM has grown beyond a single congregation into a family of ministries. Each arm carries a piece of the same assignment — worship, music, discipleship and outreach.
GOPEM's church arm — Sunday worship, weekly discipleship and community life, gathering in Ibadan.
Spreading the Gospel through worship and music — ambassadors, releases and an annual gathering of psalmists.
Reaching secondary and tertiary students — carrying forward the school outreach that began GOPEM back in 1999.
The training ground for structured discipleship and leadership formation across every arm of the house.
A daily Christian devotional and audio teaching program designed to help believers start their morning with scriptural insight and spiritual focus, going beyond the mic to reach listeners globally. What began as small audio clips recorded in a church vestry has grown into a global platform spanning over 3 seasons, 150+ episodes, and reaching listeners across more than 20 nations.
