Demonic Sabotage Against Victory (Part 1)
TEXT: Prov. 26:2
As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
Prov. 26:2 (KJV)
Life of victory is our life but not all Christians get Victory. Why? The reason is because there are saboteurs against victory from the kingdom of darkness Prov. 26:2 explains that there can never be a curse if there is no legal ground for such. Even if it’s a good prophecy, if there is no platform for the prophecy to get attached to, it cannot come to pass. But note that our accuser (the devil) is always diligent to get facts (legal grounds) first before going ahead to accuse us before God. One major way the devil manipulates a man to be destroyed by God Himself is by ensuring such a man defiles the “temple of God”
_ Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (KJV)
Most time, the suffering we go through as believers is not because of devil’s affliction but because of our unconfessed sins.
That’s how he (the devil) manipulates a man. The devil tries to discourage you from confessing your sins.
We gain nothing from hiding our sins, we only gain trouble. And
We lose nothing (not even our dignity) when we confess our sins, we gain peace instead.
_Remember, people don’t go to hell because of sins but they do because of unconfessed sins_
Why do people cover their sins?
_He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy._
Ignorance makes people cover their sins because if a man knows that if he covers his sins he wouldn’t prosper then he would decide against covering his sins.
*Note:* Because you have a Christian brother or sister who has committed the same sin as yours and nothing goes wrong doesn’t mean you can cover your own sins also. This is because judgement will definitely come at it’s appropriate time. *No sin shall go unvisited.* There is no point hiding what will still manifest later.
_Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after._
*1 Tim. 5:24*
*Signs of manifestation of ignorance includes: *
a. Fear of shame
b. Fear of demotion
d. Argument and self defense
*2. Betrayal from brethren*
We all have the responsibility of creating a good atmosphere in our community (the body of Christ – The Church) for everyone to easily come to in order to be succored or helped in trying times. In the Kingdom, we don’t condemn ourselves or rejoice at the fall of a brethren but we protect. We should *NEVER* condemn our brethren in the presence of the heathen. When we are all together in our community, we can scold and punish but never in the public.
*How do we protect?*
By identifying with that brother or sister
We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves._
